INDUSTRIAL CONTROL PANEL IN MANUFACTURING

INTRODUCTION :

ELECTRICAL CONTROL PANEL :

• Contol panel is enclosure that contains electrical switchgear like protection device, switching device & induction devices for Start & Stop control of motor.

• Contol panel are two types HT (High Tension) And LT (Low Tension).

• Generally, the industries gets the load sanction for either 33kv or 11kv which has to be step down to LT voltage (3phase,440VAC) in order to fulfil voltage requirment of indusrial motor.

• Industry receives the power as per the load demand and this power can be 11kv/22kv/33kv.

• To distribute this power in different section of industry along with all the safety.

• The incomer breaker integrated protection device, switchgear, metering device & indication device.

INCOMER BREAKER PANEL :

• A motors are not control from directly switchgear they required different types of starter like DOL, RDOL & STAR DELTA STARTER.

• Also now day's motor control from VFD (Variable frequancy drive), PLC (Pogrammable logic controller).

MOTOR CONTROL PANEL :

"Starter is an electrical switchgear assembly which consists of fuse/M.C.B./TOR/ contactor for switching on the motor with limited starting condition".

DOL(DIRECT ONLINE STARTER)

DOL starter applies full line voltage to the motor windings. The motor will draw a very high inrush current for a very short time, and then the current will be limited to the locked rotor current of the motor. the motor will develop locked rotor torque and begin to accelerate towards full speed.

RDOL(REVERSIBLE DIRECT ONLINE STARTER)

This motor starter work similar DOL starter. But additionally this starter help to motor run forword direction and also reverse direction. when motor run forword direction motor forward contactor energized and then that time reverse contactor cannot be energized & vice Versa.

MOTOR STARTER :

STAR DELTA STARTER

Star delta starter which is also known as reduced voltage starter. It is basically used to limit the starting inrush current & torque inside the motor.
